After researching LCD's for about three weeks, on line and in big box store's I decided that this was the one for our bedroom. It's picture was far superior to any other mfg model that I saw. Purchased it at Circuit City back in Sept. for $1099 which was $200 less than Best Buy and even lower than Amazon at the time. CC lowered the price on it to $999 about two weeks later so I went back and received $107.75 (tax included) back. Any way took the Sony home, had it up and running in about 20 minutes. Took longer to read the instructions than to actually get it working. The picture on this set is a thing of beauty. We absolutely love it. Great contrast, color is lifelike, sound is more than adequate for the size of the speakers. Purchased an articulating wall mount for it from Amazon ($60) and finally mounted it on a wall which really eliminated any viewing angle problem that all LCD's have. If it had a lighted remote (doesn't Sony know that sets this size more often than not end up in bedrooms) I would have rated the Ease of Use 5 stars. Over all highly recommend this TV to any one in the market for this particular screen size.
Pro : Great picture, On Screen TV Guide
Con : Remote does not light up

I love this tv so far. It has a stylish look that adds a certain flair to my kitchen where I have installed it.
Love the pic and sound.
I got it it from Walmart and thought it an excellent price for value received thus far.
I found it a little difficult to attach both DirecTV and cable. I had wanted both but eventually just stuck with cable for kitchen. I had followed instructions but somehow did not seem to get it to work without attaching cables at the side. I didn't like that look and eventually settled on one provider, so cables discreetly hidden.
Love the overall look. Classy.
Pro : Excellent pic, sound, and stylish
Con : a little difficult to set up cable and directv if you want both

This is the worse television I have ever owned. I actually bought it for a monitor for my computer. The first problem that I encountered was that I had to hit 3 buttons on the remote every time I turned the T.V. on because it goes into an auto setup for television channels endlessly. There is no way to tell it not to look for channels. Finally I hooked it up to a VCR so that it would not go through the menu anymore. A short time later the remote just stoped working and there is NO input button on the television. It was IMPOSSIBLE for me to change the channel to the HDMI input. I bought 2 universal remotes for the television not knowing how they worked (they said they work automatically with most RCA televisions). They DO NOT work with this television. Look on RCA's site in the user manual for this television. It does NOT list a universal code for this television. And when I tried to call and get help, I got an endless loop between 2 customer support numbers that kept refering me to eachother. When I finally talked to someone in support, they could NOT tell me what the universal remote code for this television was, and gave me the run around for 10 minutes. When I emialed tech support for RCA, I asked 3 questions about how to get the T.V. to work. They answered none of them, gave me a part number to order (I don't know what the part was, it came up unknown on thier website when I tried to order it), and told me to feel free to write them back if I needed more assistance. ASSISTANCE!?! What assistance? I will never buy anything from RCA again. All I am getting is aggrivation. DO NOT BUY this product if you are using it for a computer monitor. It will just make you angry. Oh, and it does not have a widescreen picture even thought it is listed as an HDTV. It uses some sort of stretching algorighim. I have to play my games in 800 by 600. That can NOT be true HDTV...
Pro : Looks nice in the box
Con : Horrid engineering

The first thing that I do not like about this TV is turning it on. I have to hold down the power button for 3 seconds. It has 2 Component inputs and 1 HDMI for the HD inputs. This is helpful because I can have the TV on the HDMI and a PS3 and Xbox 360 on the Component inputs. This TV lacks any coaxial or optical output for an surround sound system. The digital tuner works well because I can switch between analog and digital. For analog cable users there is an channel label system so you can put in FOX, CNN, ABC and the other stations. When I got the TV it cost under $1000 and this was a good price for the features. This model is not the Scenium model so it is a strip down. Good TV if it is your first HD because it has many features but the price is low enough to afford until the 1080p TV's come down in price.
Pro : VGA and 2 Component Inputs
Con : One S-Video and Composite input
